Week 3: Baptism

This sermon series is spiritual meat that we need if we are going to experience the extraordinary life that Jesus has for all of us. We must understand the core teachings of Scripture, and a life without these core teachings is a tree without roots, a building without foundation.

In this lesson, Pastor Akil talks about Water Baptism. At every point that water appears in the bible, it symbolizes a change. So many of us were like the world when the Lord found us, and we just existed without any real purpose. We lived our lives in a routine likely dictated by someone else. In this lesson, we'll understand the history and importance of water baptism and how we accomplish it. Water changes us when it washes away our sins in Baptism in the Name of Jesus.
