THE VISION
The Bible is clear that without vision, people perish (Pr.28:19) & that people are also destroyed because of lack of knowledge (Hosea
4:6).
At Extraordinary Church, we strive not just to be able to do, but more importantly, we strive to see! It is the sincere heart of our
leadership to lead with vision. We love vision; we need vision, and we want VISION! In 2023 we desire His vision for the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area, Kingdom expansion.
Vision and elevation are synonymous. High places yield a more expansive vision. The goal at Extraordinary Church is to constantly communicate the vision with clear understanding. It is our goal for our staff, dream team, leaders and attendees to SEE WHAT WE
SEE!
Our Vision Statement is expansive yet concise. We want to do ONLY the things we have been called to do and do those things well.
The purpose and vision statement of Extraordinary Church is simple yet profound.
Our purpose: At Extraordinary Church, we exist to help ordinary people experience extraordinary life in Jesus Christ.
Our vision is simple:
We believe that as we obey God, each part of our purpose, mission, vision, and core values will work together in a powerful and
supernatural way to help us fulfill all God has asked us to do.

PURSUE REVIVAL
We commit to being a church that is passionate about PURSUING REVIVAL. Every time we gather, it is our resolve to passionately pursue the presence of God in a Spirit-filled, Spirit-driven, Spirit-charged atmosphere. The purpose of our weekend worship experiences, extraordinary nights, prayer nights, and other corporate gatherings is to provide an "extraordinary" life-giving church experience where Jesus is exalted and worshipped, the Gospel is presented, and people are allowed to encounter God honestly and powerfully.
Our pursuit of revival emanates throughout our church. From our eKids ministries to our youth ministries, our young adult ministries, our eGroups and community impact, and so much more, the effects of this pursuit can be seen and felt.

MAINTAIN THE GIFT OF UNITY
The Scriptures are clear that it is "good and pleasant for the brethren to dwell in unity" and that where there is unity, "... God commands His blessing" (Psalm 133). At Extraordinary Church, we are determined to maintain the gift of unity and united. We desire to be a place where every person can connect with God and connect with each other despite our differences. We know that our Creator perfectly created us all and that our diversity is discovered in our differences, not our sameness.
RELEASE PURPOSE
At EC, we understand that every person was created on purpose, with a purpose, and for a PURPOSE. We acknowledge that a part of our assignment, call, and mission is to help every willing person who calls Extraordinary Church home discover, unlock, and release their purpose. At EC, we know that releasing you into your God-given personal purpose ultimately aids us in fulfilling our God-given corporate purpose. It's our heart, no matter your age, to do this from your first day at EC.
Because we are committed to RELEASING PURPOSE, we have created many avenues to help you discover and function in yours. Whether through hearing the Word of God in our worship experiences, taking the following steps (Growth Track), connecting with others (eGroups), mentorship (Life Studies), and serving on our Dream Team, EC is intent on seeing everyone fulfill the purpose of God on their lives.

LEAVING A LEGACY
Legacy is lived before it's left, and we believe in the next generation at Extraordinary Church. We are focused on becoming a church that experiences a move of God until He returns. We insist on maximizing the time we have been given and leaving those who are "next" with a solid foundation and a great example to follow.
Our focus on leaving a legacy can be seen in our commitment to our eKids, youth and young adult ministries.
Our devotion to leaving a legacy can also be seen and felt through our generosity. At EC, we give generously because we know our giving extends our reach. Our faithfulness in our generosity empowers us to show our communities the love of God. Through outreachs like Extraordinary Kindness, ministering to our local homeless community, or by our partnership with Peel Children's Aide Society & New Beginnings in helping children through being an advocate for adoption or the special needs community, Extraordinary Church is committed to being "there" for the family and the sake of legacy.
