FASTING

There are several types of fasting. The one you choose is between you and God. He will honour your best sacrifice. 
Full Fast
Abstain from all food and drink except for water for 24 hours.

The Daniel Fast
Eat no meat, no sweets and no bread. Drink water and juice. Eat fruits and vegetables. Check out this Daniel's Fast Guidelines resource.

Partial Fast
A partial fast is from 6 am - 3 pm or from sun up to sundown.

You can select to do a Full Fast, Daniel Fast or give up at least one item of food.

Whichever Fast you choose, remember, this is a fast (which means to restrict food for spiritual purposes). One of the most
powerful lessons you can learn during this time is how to put your flesh in its rightful place and realize that you don’t have to
give in to the desires of your flesh. Invest most of your time and attention on the Lord.

Keep the main thing the main thing. Keep Jesus and your relationship with Him as the foundation of the fast.
