Day Eighteen: Say Yes To Hope

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 49:30

Hope: "favourable and confident expectation."

In Acts 3, the lame man expected to get money from Peter and John. He hoped they would give him what he needed to survive that day. But his hope and expectation let him down, and it left him disappointed. They said, "We don't have what you are hoping for, but what we do have, we give to you. In the name of Jesus, get up and walk".

Maybe what you have been hoping for this past season has let you down. You've been left disappointed and wondering how you will survive. Don't give up hope! Sometimes God's YES is in man's NO.

If you've been disappointed by what you thought you needed to survive, take heart because God is about to give you what you need to thrive!

The lame man received something greater than he had even hoped for. He jumped up and began leaping and praising God as he joyfully made his way through the gate called "Beautiful" (meaning belonging to the correct hour or season).

DECLARATION/PRAYER: I declare I am about to enter a beautiful season. God is about to do something in my life this year that is greater than I could ever hope for or imagine. He will turn my season of survival and disappointment into a season of dancing and praising. Today and beyond, I am saying yes to hope, in Jesus' name.
